Craft Therapy

I just had to go to JoAnn Fabric .... and I over estimated my turning radius and scraped the car in the parking spot next to me as I was turning in. I didn't realize what the scraping sound was until it was too late.

Two bumpers in two months. Awesome.

Assaulter

I got the worst of it actually. They only had some scraped off paint.

Yes, I did leave a note.... but haven't heard from them. Oh well.

Easter 2012

Yes, I have Easter pictures.... Enjoy!

This is dessert. Kevin's Grandma Trisha brought lemon cupcakes, apple pie, and carrot cake. It was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of the main dinner. I made leg of lamb and cheese asparagus tart and my mother-in-law made spinach and strawberry salad. We were well fed.

Of course we also had an Easter Egg Hunt. We did one with Natalie last year and had high hopes for this year ... but it was pretty much the same. Next year, right?

Natatlie loved the cupcakes!

This is my centerpiece! Turned out cute and festive, eh?

Date Night

The Friday before Easter Kevin and I traveled back in time and went to Skateland with some friends. We had a great time. And yes, of course I requested Paula Abdul. It was awesome!

And this was the fail picture of the day...

Train Park

We took the kids and their cousin Paige to the Scottsdale Train Park on Thursday. We had so much fun!

Waiving....

Gone where no baby has gone before....

All kids love the dishwasher (especially before it becomes a chore). I can't keep my kids away from it. But Benjamin was the first in our family to attempt to get washed in it.

Giant sugar cookies and picture windows

I love projects. Last weekend I was at my mom's and with the extra help with the kids it's a great time to do a project and try out some new recipes.

My mom has these great old vintage framed windows that she found at their old house during their move. We saw some inspiration at a sandwich shoppe and decided to try to make one of our own. Emily came over and we just started creating. It took us about two hours and we had so much fun!

I think it turned out so great! I hope my mom loves it forever ... or gives it to me:)

For Conference Sunday I wanted to cook and cook. So mom gave me the reins to her kitchen. I made this dessert that everyone has had before ... except for Natalie. It was pretty fun documenting her experience. It was a sugar cookie the size of a pizza with cream cheese frosting and TONS of delicious fruit. This is the worst treat ever because you think you are getting something healthy and half way through your second piece you realize why you love it so much .. and it's not because of the fruit.

My sweet special girl.....
