my sweet dust bunnies

I promise I wasn't neglecting them. 

 

I was busy in the other room and all I heard was happy quiet playing together.  When I got up to start on something for dinner I heard this little voice ... "I'm sorry Mom.  I'm sorry." (this has been Natalie's first line of defense lately) and I saw this little girl.

They had found the Bisquick and decided that I needed some dusting done in the dining and piano rooms.

It's harder to vacuum up Bisquick than you would think.

Sugar and Spice.....

Maybe you have notcied.... but I haven't posted in a while.

In July we moved and two weeks later this happened.

This little munchkin is coming to our family sometime in March! We are very excited.

I think I am more excited that I am not sick anymore.  So sick ... I don't even have words to explain how sick....

But its over now and I get to plan for our sweet Grace Effie's arrival.

Here's proof its a girl for any of you doubters out there.

Somewhere beyond the sea.....

Day 2 of our weekend at the beach.

Meg and Emily went to see the tide pools and get in the waves.  Natalie and Mommy wanted to join them.

Aunt Meg caught a crab!  Finally!  Yesterdays toils paid off.

Is he to little too split between the 7 of us?

Sisters, sisters ... There were never such devoted sisters....

Grammy and Ben

Meg, Emily, Natalie and me went off to explore some tide pools.  Natalie loved wading in the pools and getting wet without having to worry about the waves.

Then the kids went home for a nap with Grammy and Grandma Great, Meg, Emily and I went for a little jaunt around the town.

What beautiful sisters I have!

Since I saw this place on our first day, I had been dying to go there.  Captain Dan's Pirate Pastry. 

 And this guy is legit.  Captain hat and everything.  

He was even in a newspaper article on National Talk Like a Pirate Day.

This is the apple scone with bacon, caramel and cream cheese.  His biggest seller and I loved it!

Emily got the sugar cookie sandwich.

They also had this glass blowing place where you could create your own glass stuff.  This guy was making a whale in the water. It was cool.  Across the street they were selling some glass stuff.  Pretty impressive.

We had so much fun!  Can't wait for our next girls weekend (with Benjamin).
